NHS Treatments
You will be able to have all treatment provided under the NHS that your dentist feels is clinically necessary in order to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. The charge you pay depends on the treatment you receive. You will only ever be asked to pay one charge for each course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it.

You are entitled to receive free NHS care:
If you receive income based employment support allowance
If you receive income support
If you receive income based job seekers allowance
If you receive pension credit guarantee credit
If you have a HC2 exemption certificate
If you are pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months
If you are under 18
If you are under 19 and in full time education
If you have a NHS tax credit exemption card
If you are a prisoner or in a young offenders institute
If you have a HC3 certificate, you may be entitled to reduced cost treatment. Your entitlement will be detailed on your certificate. If you do not pay or pay a reduced amount towards your NHS dental treatment, you will be required to show proof of this when you attend the practice.
